Well let’s take you back to where it stems from, so I’m climbing a roof right and this kid, I say kid. Early 20s comes outside (he rents the house) to verify what was going on.
He starts to say he did roofing for a while in Chicago, my eyes light up. This guy gets it.. or does he😅🙃.
Long story short him and his roommate come on to the team. (Let’s call them guy 1 and guy 2) Of course I’m over the moon. I’m breaking ground in this new state, I meet two guys with some roofing knowledge. Let’s go. We building. 😈
HAHA.. man I’ve been through this so many times, you’d think one day I’d see through the BS.. nope not me, not Mr. Give opportunity after opportunity even when you show no effort on your end.
Well the guy 2 needed more opportunity given his situation. Guy1 had other responsibilities and was honestly a lot more straight up about things. So I do and do to help guy 2 understand the opportunity or atleast have somewhat or success.
I mean let me back up, THE OPPORTUNITY… Roofing Sales, a trade/Skill that you can learn very quickly (like months) with no schooling required and make 6 figures+ your first year easily. Keep in mind this is a full commission type opportunity, you’re a 1099. Initiative is expected because again I won’t do if for you. It’s your time to become a businessman or women and run your own business, partnering with another business to deliver a product. So in a nut shell, You work hard, get clients and BOOM you make money.. yeah I’ll give out leads/clients or course but you gotta learn the hustle first hmm.. seems simple to me, but who am I? Clearly I’m not sober 😂😂
So let me breakdown the “get sober” comment made to me recently on my Venmo account after I’m asking guy 2 repeatedly for the money back I loaned him to get his car fixed because he was going to start hustling solo so we didn’t need to pick him up everyday. 🫠😎 of course he went ghost and we never heard from him after a few weeks of getting the money.
As a team we were of course thrown off by someone with such great motivation at the beginning but very much so a couch surfer.
Now do I need the $400, no however at this point it’s principle to be honest. When you’ve brought in no potential jobs, you ghosted us basically, then had no efforts to check on or follow up on the jobs that were GIVEN to you… yeah.. slang that $400 back this way champ hahaha. Btw he didn’t fix his car with it. 🤷🏽♂️ because still picked him up a few weeks after that.
Oh yeah.. I’m so not sober y’all..

Comical. Btw this is girl 1 we’ve brought into the mix. Don’t have much to say about her honestly. I mean I did comment on her payment it him requesting to be paid back, I mean it makes sense to me. Someone pays him money, he pays money he borrowed back to me. Same basic math he needed for the job opportunity given to him. 🤔

On my quest to explain how not being sober, it leads me to only point you back to the very video I made for this blog.
IM SO ADDICTED TO LIFE, common response from someone just Vibin through life huh. Well I’d have to agree with this, I feel amazing. My life is shaped where it needs to be for 30 years of age, based on where it’s going I’m determining that.
You won’t catch me hungover, sorry about it. Drinking is just not my thing. Lived that life forsure. Now a nice cheeseburger coma is different.

Forreal though, my life’s good man. I’m high off of the moments with my girl who’s typically 14hours away from me 95% of the month. I’m drunk with excitement to see my friend growing on social media or through conversations with them about their life and accomplishments.
Im strung out on the sunsets and long solo walks I take to gather my thoughts. Or the over dowse preworkout during a 2 hour pump session. I pop so many pills In the morning I should be speaking on the men’s daily vitamin intake commercials.
I’m saying all this to say this. NON OF US ARE SOBER… THIS PHONE HAS MADE US SO WEAK AND SOFT. WERE SO ADDICTED TO HIDING BEHIND THIS SCREEN. THE WORDS WE TYPE TO SHOWCASE OUR CHARACTER. it’s sad. 😕
The fact that guy 1 has made no efforts to reach out, apologize for wasting my time or a simple bro I just don’t have it. I’ll get it to you man goes a lot father than your third Roomate (girl 1) responding for you.
I guess I should’ve went to that bonfire they invited me to to get hammered and show up to the meeting next day looking like shit. Next time champ. Next time.
